For more information, visit our website. Company Overview The WNYRHS was formed in August 1980 to promote the preservation of our railway heritage on the Niagara Frontier. Over the past 30 years we have preserved and restored the Orchard Park and Williamsville depots and acquired nearly 50 pieces of historic railroad equipment. General Information The Heritage Discovery Center, located at 100 Lee Street in the City of Buffalo, is the new museum project of the WNY Railway Historical Society. The Heritage Discovery Center is open every Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday from 10am to 5pm. Admission is free. Volunteers & docents are always welcome, please contact us for more information.

BriteSmith Brewing Company is the passion project of a group of local beer lovers who wanted to revolutionize the brewpub experience in Williamsville, NY.  BriteSmith Brewing Company takes its name from the subset of Blacksmiths known as Bright Smiths.  Just as Brite Smiths specialized in tin and pewter to perfect the shine and finish of metals.  BriteSmith Brewing specializes in delivering perfectly polished pints.  And while there are nods to the past throughout the brewery from the towering stainless-steel “Brite” tanks above the bar to the hearth-inspired pizza oven, BriteSmith is not your grandfather’s brewpub.  From innovative brews to a spirited, knowledgeable staff, we’re all about moving the industry forward.   So, let’s raise a glass to history but drink to the future.
