Music On Main presents “One More 4 Michael”

A special evening of live music in support of local musician Michael DiSanto

  • Thursday, August 29, 2019 —  The Williamsville Business Association (WBA) announced its Music on Main summer music series is being extended one week in support of Buffalo musician Michael DiSanto. The WBA is partnering with Musicians 4 Michael to present this evening of live music on Thurs., Sept. 5 from 6-9 p.m. at ten different locations along Main Street in the Village of Williamsville.

Michael DiSanto, a career musician, suffered a debilitating stroke on July 22, 2019 that has left him unable to perform the music that is his livelihood. Musicians from all over WNY, in a widespread effort coordinated by Musicians for Michael, have been performing in support of Mike’s ongoing rehab and recovery so he can return to his Buffalo music family.
    .
The announcement was made by Eddie Tice, chairperson for Music on Main and Buffalo Music Hall of Fame inductee (2010).

“Mike is a terrific musician, and we were happy to organize this event to help him. We’re also grateful to all of the host establishments in the Village of Williamsville and all of the participating musicians who are making ‘One More 4 Michael’ possible,” said Tice.

JJ Moscato, one of the organizers of Musicians 4 Michael, added, “There’s never been a time when I’ve been more proud to be part of the Buffalo music community. The outpouring of love and support for our brother Mike is overwhelming.”

Musicians performing on Sept. 5 will donate tips and/or fees to DiSanto.

The performers scheduled to play for “One More for Michael” are Vin DeRosa, Hot Daddy Rocks, The Rig, Geno McManus and Frank Grizanti, Josh Geercken, Stonehouse Band, Tina Williams, “Rick,”  JJ Moscato, and Brian Beaudry.
